If your school or group would like to experience Pima JTED Project SEARCH please schedule for either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday visit during the Month of September thru November!  No tours will be held the week of October 10, 2017.

Visitation time slots:  9:30 – 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.

*If your group is unable to attend during the month of October thru November please feel free to contact about scheduling a future visit date.  Also group sizes are recommended between 6-8 individuals due to logistics.

Mandatory incoming Intern Informational Session
Project SEARCH Interns
This ten-month program is designed for high school
students, between 18 to 21 years of age, with an
intellectual/developmental disability who are from
Pima County and nearing high school graduation.
Interns participate through dual enrollment with the
Pima County Joint Technical Education District and
their home district. Prospective interns must meet the
following eligibility criteria:

• have a strong desire/commitment to work
• agree that the program year will be his/her final
     year in high school
• be willing to utilize public transportation to access
     the program and competitive employment if needed
• maintain appropriate behavior and social skills in
     the workplace without immediate supervision
• agree to exit educationally relevant related services

SEARCH Intern Kimberly works at the University of Arizona Fuel Modern Eatery at the Student Rec, Center. She makes a mean smoothie. You should come on out and try one! They're GREAT!
